Minni Make + Play virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 1.5–5 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.
In Minni Make + Play – Tie-Dye Flowers (virtual) students and caregivers will celebrate spring flowers with bright colors and creative blooms. Instructor Maria will touch on foundational color theory as students create watercolor bouquets for mom.
Materials Needed

2–3 paper towels or coffee filters

Washable markers (recommended) or markers of any kind in 1–2 primary colors (red, yellow or blue)

Watercolor paint or water with a few drops of food coloring in 1–2 primary colors (red, yellow or blue)

Small container of water

Paint brush and/or a Q-Tip

Pipe cleaner to create flower stems

Tray or protected surface to work on
We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop. For this workshop, take a look outside at different types of flowers! What colors do you see?
