Minni virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 4–10 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.
In Minni DesignShop – Soaring Skyscrapers (virtual) creativity will soar sky-high as future architects design + build their own city structure. Instructor Maria will offer an overview of basic architectural design concepts while students use shapes and color to construct original buildings.
Materials Needed

Scavenger hunt items: 2D materials in various shapes, such as pom poms, cardboard and paper cut into shapes, toilet paper loops, bottle caps. Students will collage these items on their buildings!

1–3 cardboard boxes

Red, blue, yellow + white tempera paint (no need to have all 4 colors!)

2 bowls to mix paint in

Paint brushes – a couple for painting, another for applying glue (a Q-Tip is great for glue application as well!)

Elmer’s Glue in a dish or small container
We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop. These items are listed above in the material list.
