The instructor will provide step-by-step instructions and support as you weave a square base secured with twined reed, turn up your weavers in a sweeping curve and finish the project with waxed linen knots to fasten the groups of weavers around a small vase. Kits with weaving materials, including hand-dyed rattan weavers in vibrant colors, will be available for pickup in Arlington Heights starting five days prior to the class date. Pickup directions will be sent out to registered students starting one week prior to the class date. The $12 materials fee covers two kits.
