In an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie, we’ll build our art-making skills guided by artist and art instructor Mary Ann McCarthy McArdle. She will start with a short demo of each day’s assignment which you subsequently create on your own. Mary Ann will provide assistance on an individual basis and there will be an opportunity to share our art with others at the end of each class.  Our focus will be on drawing from still life or your photos. Join others from your own home and connect on line in this shared experience!  Explore line, value and texture, space, shape, and composition. Student receives link to zoom class [set up as recurring with reminder before each class via email and suggested materials needed for each class (still life, photos, etc.)]
Live demo of the focus for the week with all participants muted by host (Mary Ann) until demo end. At that point Mary Ann suggests they stay muted but they have an option to unmute on their own for questions and discussions with her.  The muting is necessary as there is lots of background noise.
Students work independently with a computer or phone nearby, camera on. Follow up with group sharing in gallery view.  Students have option not to share their own work but are encouraged to participate in discussion.
