Minni virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 4–10 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.
In Minni SculptureShop – Playdough Gardens (Virtual) nature lovers and aspiring landscape architects will gather to create colorful garden reliefs from homemade playdough. Instructor Maria will offer a brief lesson on color mixing, texture and composition while students mold their own playdough into miniature worlds of their own.
Materials Needed

1 cup of flour
½ cup of salt
½ cup of water
Medium sized bowl for mixing
Spoon for mixing
Tempera paint or food coloring (we recommend primary colors)
6” piece of cardboard to use as a base (measurement does not need to be exact!)
Any tools on hand to manipulate playdough with, such as spoons, popsicle sticks, a garlic press, rolling pins and cookie cutters
Optional: Popsicle sticks, toothpicks, pipe cleaners, or any objects to create flower stems with
