Minni virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 4–10 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.
In Minni CollageShop – Self-Portraits (Virtual) students will reinvent recycled materials to create a work of art just as unique as they are. Instructor Maria will teach students how to create art from observation as they layer, mix and match materials to collage their own self-portrait.
Materials Needed

Scavenger hunt items: small recycled materials to collage with such as bottle caps, twist ties, toilet paper rolls cut into loops, pipe cleaners and spare buttons.
Cardboard to collage on
Scissors
A mirror
Yarn
Fabric
Newspaper, magazines, construction paper
Elmer’s Glue
Paint brush or Q-Tip for applying glue
Small dish or container for glue
