Minni Make + Play virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 1.5–5 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.
In Minni Make + Play – Magic Wands (Virtual) little artists and caregivers will use their imaginations to make whimsical magic wands perfect for adventures to come at home. Instructor Maria will encourage imaginary play while guiding students through a series of spellbinding activities designed to bring a little magic to your day.
Materials Needed

Scavenger hunt items: Sticks to be used as magic wands (thicker sticks are best)
Yarn and/or ribbon
Washi Tape (optional)
Materials to decorate the wand with, such as: feathers, paper shapes, pom poms, pipe cleaners, buttons – anything found around the house!
White Elmer’s Glue + any kind of paint to color the glue (this can include watercolor, tempera and even food coloring)
A paint brush, Q-Tip or cotton ball to apply glue with
A small container for glue
Tray or protected surface
