‘90s MUSIC NIGHT Featuring Restless Souls, Flesh, Sweet Cheater

Presented by Regent Theatre at Online/Virtual Space

RESTLESS SOULS:
Restless Souls are from Boston and were big on the scene in the early to mid 90s gaining early popularity opening for a ‘secret’ Living Color show when they were at their peak and packing the area clubs up and down the east coast. Some other highlights from that time were competing in the 1993 WBCN Rock and Roll Rumble and getting a fair amount of airplay on the area radio shows and live in studio performance at stations like WERS Boston etc.

FLESH:
FLESH’s style of hard rock combined with their high energy performances has earned them a faithful following. In addition to releasing two CD’s, they signed with EMI Music Publishing, were nominated twice for Best Hard Rock Act by the Boston Music Awards and played a 30 city tour across the US with Extreme. In addition to Flesh, singer Paulo Bettencourt released a solo CD “Me” and toured with his brother Nuno Bettencourt. Guitarist Mark Cherone and bass player Stephen Powell formed two bands, SUPERZERO and OK PANIC, releasing three CD’s and touring Japan. Mark recently collaborated with his brother Gary Cherone on a new project called HURTSMILE, releasing two CD’s and touring the US and Japan. FLESH’s reunion shows draw great audiences as the band members continue to expand on their already impressive body of work.

SWEET CHEATER
Rock & Roll veterans of the Boston music scene, Sweet Cheater have been entertaining audiences for years with their hard rock melodic songs. Their debut album, Eatin’ Ain’t Cheatin’ was released in 2006 and included fan favorites like “Dancing On My Grave”, “Summer” & “All Fired Up”. “Summer” was recently featured in episode 4 of the HBO series, “The Righteous Gemstones” starring John Goodman and Danny McBride. “Summer” was featured on the soundtrack to the movie, “Baby on Board” starring Jerry O’Connell and Heather Graham, as well as in the Spike TV series, “Blue Mountain State”. Sweet Cheater has shared the stage with Bret Michaels, Cheap Trick, Cinderella, House of Lords, Judas Priest, Skid Row, Slaughter, Whitesnake and Winger.
