Grammy-winning classical pianist Angelin Chang collaborates with virtuoso jazz pianist Jeremy Siskind for a performance sure to be filled with pianistic explosiveness and musical danger.
Grammy-winning classical pianist Angelin Chang is taking big a chance performing with jazz pianist Jeremy Siskind. "Classical players aren't used to responding in the moment to improvisation," says Siskind. "They want to do exactly the same thing every time. That's no fun for a performer like me who thrives on living dangerously."
Chang and Siskind will perform at Falcetti Pianos in Natick on March 28th (7:30 PM) in a free performance to celebrate Siskind's new piano book project, "Perpetual Motion Etudes for Piano." Natick will be the last stop on their 7-concert tour, which includes piano stores, jazz clubs, house concerts, and, yes, a stop at Carnegie Hall on March 25th. Reservations are recommended for the performance as space is limited.
Free event! Registration in advance strongly recommended.
