Three struggling Bostonians set forth on a colorful journey to overcome the T’s wild inefficiencies in this melodrama that has run intermittently to sold-out crowds in Boston. The show previously won BroadwayWorld.com’s annual “Best New Musical.”
T: An MBTA Musical chronicles the journey of three struggling Bostonians whose lives have been derailed by the MBTA's incompetency. When they discover a secret map that will enable them to overthrow the transit system’s inefficiency, they set forth on a colorful journey that is part love story, part melodrama, part scavenger hunt, all one big transportation nightmare. The musical includes memorable moments like "The Shuttle Bus Song (We Can't Handle It)," “The People on the T,” and "General Manager of the Month,” all of which are available for listening here.
Tickets are available now, $25 general admission. For a deeper theatrical experience, audience members can purchase on-the-train tickets and find themselves seated on the stage with the actors performing around, next to, and sometimes on top of them. On-the-train tickets are limited and cost $10 more.
Tickets are also available (card only) at the door for a $3 additional service fee. There are no ticket fees for advance purchase online.
