The Sharon Community Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Michael Korn,  http://www.michaelkornviolinist.com/gallery.html presents Voříšek, Symphony in D Major, Op  24, Beethoven Coriolan Overture, Op. 62, and von Winter Concertino for Clarinet, Bassoon and Orchestra in Eb Major.  Chi-Ju Juliet Lai, clarinet, https://ventochiaro.org/about/chiju-juliet-lai/  and Elah Grandel, bassoon, https://www.elahsingshalom.com/#AboutMe  are the guest soloists. Dr. LaI is an active chamber and orchestral musician who is the clarinetist in the acclaimed quintet, Vento Chiaro. The quintet has been the woodwind quintet in residence at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute since 2002. Ms. Grandel is also an active chamber and orchestral musician locally and internationally. A native of Israel, Ms. Grandel served for two years in the Israeli Army's program for distinguished musicians and later was principal bassoonist of the Israeli Sinfonietta Orchestra. Also on the program, the Oliver Ames Chamber Orchestra , which will perform Two Elegiac Melodies, Op. 34, by Grieg.

Admission Info

Tickets: $15;  $10 seniors and students. All seats are general admission.
