An evening with Acclaimed Author Andre Dubus III

NYTs’ bestselling and award-winning author, Andre Dubus III, will be speaking about the craft of writing and his new book, Gone So Long, at the Azorean Restaurant, 133 Washington St., Gloucester on February 27 at 6:30 PM.  The program is sponsored by the Gloucester Writers’ Center.

Dubus III’s seven previous books include the New York Times best seller House of Sand and Fog, which was a finalist for the National Book Award and made into a movie starring Ben Kingsley. His other books include The Garden of Last Days and his memoir Townie. Gone So Long has already received star reviews from the publishers weekly and library journal and been named on many “Best Books” lists.

Mr. Dubus has also been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship, the National Magazine Award for Fiction, two Pushcart Prizes and is a recipient of an American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature. His books are published in over twenty-five languages. He teaches at the University of Massachusetts law.
