For its next Do-It-Yourself event, the Museum invites visitors to join its eco-knitting circle. With reuse and recycle on the mind, we’re using recycled plastic for yarn (aka “plarn”) to create all manner of items for daily use. Make yourself a wall hanging, a place to store your soap, a bowl, or a bag. Pop in anytime between 4:00 and 8:00 pm to try your hand at a few different stitches and create your own piece. If you already have a knitting project (made of recyclables or not), you’re welcome to knit with us in the galleries. No prior artistic experience is required. We’ll provide the materials, you provide the creativity.
Free; open to the public; no prior registration required.
