Inspired by the live energy, distinct sound, and songwriting of legendary band The Who, Slip Kid, formed by lead vocalist Gary Cherone (Extreme, Van Halen) and his brother Mark Cherone on guitar, was formed to not impersonate The Who but rather deliver the music and the experience of The Who from every era. As the band puts it, “it’s a celebration, not an imitation.”

Slip Kid are on the road and next appearing in New England on Saturday, February 1 at Blue Ocean Music Hall in Salisbury, MA. Tickets are available through TicketMaster and range from $25 to $34. Show starts at 8:00 p.m.

Along with Gary and Mark Cherone, this dynamic band includes Paul Mangone on bass; Dana Spellman on drums; and Jeff Calder on keyboards/programming and vocals. The combined backgrounds and passion of the musicians in Slip Kid make for a powerful, memorable rock show – they do The Who justice for sure.
