Visit Zoo New England to Support Wildlife Recovery Efforts in Australia

Presented by Stone Zoo at Stone Zoo

Australia is home to a wealth of ecologically diverse and important species, and the number of wildlife affected by the fires is staggering with reported figures ranging from 500 million to 1 billion animals having perished. Saving wildlife is at the heart of Zoo New England’s mission, and we are committed to supporting the conservation efforts of those affected by this environmental catastrophe.

To show our support, on Sunday, January 26, which is also Australia Day, Zoo New England will donate 50% of all gate admission sales at Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo to Zoos Victoria’s Bushfire Emergency Wildlife Fund.

In addition, a private donor has made a generous $10,000 challenge gift to match all revenue raised at our entry gates on this day. This is a tremendous opportunity for guests to show their support for wildlife both here and abroad and to contribute directly to the life-saving efforts of our counterparts in Australia.
