Music at Eden’s Edge (www.edensedge.org), is the North Shore's own regional resident chamber music ensemble. Now in its thirty-ninth consecutive year, MEE proudly presents 2020 Vision: Pairings and Sides Lecture/Performance Series, listener friendly concerts which offer an insider’s view on music selected by the performers. Live performances in an intimate space are introduced by the players, offering historic, stylistic and personal insights, all done with a liberal dose of humor and some vigorous dialog. It is a great opportunity to hear rarely-performed classical selections and to learn at the same time. MEE has found our listeners hungry for this experience, and we have enjoyed every year of presenting these unique series.

On Monday February 10, the season begins with Suite of Small Plates, featuring Flutist Orlando Cela and Violinist Maria Benotti. From the Baroque to the twentieth century, the program will include music of Boismortier, Telemann, Mozart, Bach, Bartok, a contemporary solo piece for flute and folk songs of Venezuela. Come listen to the delicacy as well as the robustness of music for flute and violin. Count on lively commentary, musical old friends, pieces you might never have heard, and plenty of humor along with thoughtful perceptions.
