The Mattson Medeiros Band - The Fallout Shelter, Norwood

The Mattson Medeiros Band - The Fallout Shelter, Norwood

Presented by The Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center at The Fallout Shelter

This will be a groovalicious night of funky New Orleans R&B and roots music!

The Mattson Medeiros Band is obsessed with New Orleans funk and R&B, and they channel that madness into every performance. Get ready for a night of rollicking piano and Hammond B3 from Bruce Mattson (former member of the Greg Allman Band), soulful guitar and vocals from Tony Medeiros, infectious grooves from Dan Hann on Drums and Joe Potenza on bass, and plenty of bad attitude from Walt Bostian on Trombone.

This is the band’s first show following the release of their album “Qualified”, a collection of 12 genre-defining NOLA R&B tunes that have anchored the band’s live sets over the years.   Laissez les bon temps rouler!

The Fallout Shelter is a television soundstage/recording studio with a "cabaret" style theater built in for a live studio audience. You are coming to watch the production/filming/recording of a LIVE television show up close and personal, in an intimate listening room. It is the most unique live music experience in New England. There's a beer/wine bar, ample parking and a relaxed, intimate atmosphere.
