Gordon & Hodgkinson Duo

Presented by Brandeis University at Slosberg Music Center at Brandeis University

The long-time collaboration of Lydian String Quartet cellist Joshua Gordon and the acclaimed pianist Randall Hodgkinson has been hailed by The New Yorker as "an insightful and impassioned cello piano duo." The duo returns to Brandeis University's Slosberg Music Center for a captivating performance of:

Marti Epstein: Lazy Susan (1997)
George Walker: Sonata for Cello and Piano (1957)
Yu-Hui Chang: Rio del Tizon for unaccompanied cello (2010)
Manuel de Falla: Suite Populaire Espagnole (1914)

The Brandeis Department of Music presents over 60 concerts each year in the Slosberg Recital Hall—a one of a kind acoustical gem—as well as locations across the Brandeis campus. Featuring:
