Vinfen's 13th Annual Moving Images Film Festival.

Vinfen's 13th Annual Moving Images Film Festival.

Presented by Vinfen Corporation at Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School

This year’s event will explore the lives of people with psychiatric conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges through five powerful and touching films: The Public, This Is My Brave, Living With High-Functioning Anxiety, I Am Not A Monster: Schizophrenia, and INTELLIGENT LIVES.

Far too often, we see stigma and marginalization of people with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral health challenges in our society.

Vinfen believes every life has value, and people have a right to advocate for their individualism without backlash, but rather with support from the community. Creativity in service provisions and community acceptance are essential elements to self-determination, personal growth, level of service involvement, recovery, personal and professional relationships, and the pursuit of one’s dreams.

Films will be followed by three inspiring panel discussions featuring stars of the film This Is My Brave Jennifer Marshall, Jason Wright, Kasey Maher, and Nneka Hall; star of the film I Am Not A Monster: Schizophrenia Cecilia McGough; star of the film INTELLIGENT LIVES Micah Fialka-Feldman; and special guest Emma Fialka-Feldman, a Boston Public Schools Elementary Educator and Micah’s sister.

CART Interpreter Services will be provided for panel discussions.

Lunch will be served and parking at the venue is complimentary.
