In this beginner-friendly class designed to get you comfortable social dancing, we cover the basics of partner dancing, the fundamental movements and moves of Lindy Hop, and some turns and variations.
Lindy 1 classes are offered throughout the year, and always begin at the beginning of a month.
Do I Need A Partner?
No partner necessary! Because Lindy Hop is a very social dance, we rotate partners throughout the class, so you get to know and dance with everyone.
What Should I Wear?
Shoes that are comfortable and stick to your feet. Sling backs and flip flops are hard to dance in. As far as everything else, wear something comfortable that makes you feel good. You may however want to avoid articles of clothing that a hand on the back could get caught in.
