Hub New Music and the "striking" (New York Times) composer/harpist Hannah Lash collaborate on a new multi-movement work for mixed quartet and harp. Lash joins the ensemble as the harpist in her thirty minute work that explores the limitless expressive range of this new instrumentation. Also on the program, Lash performs her own solo harp works, HNM offers works from its quartet repertoire, and the two collaborate on their transcriptions of Messiaen's kaleidoscopic Piano Preludes.
