A celebration of diverse voices and styles, from the 15th century to the 20th and the 21st.
The 2018 winners of the Gramophone Classical Music Award for Early Music offer a celebration of diverse voices and styles, from the 15th century (Obrecht) to the 20th (Le cantique des cantiques for twelve voices by Jean-Yves Daniel Lesur) and the 21st (Devran by Boston’s own Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol), as well as madrigals by the late 16th-century composer Vittoria Aleotti. This program is offered only as a matinee.
