The Fallout Shelter is an all ages 100-seat performance venue and state-of-the-art broadcast and recording studio, offering one of the most unique live music experiences in New England.  Located in Norwood, MA, just 15 miles from Boston, The Fallout Shelter is run under the auspices of the Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and advocating for traditional American Roots music.

All performances are filmed, recorded and broadcast from multiple camera angles in the Extended Play Sessions, a music television series streamed live on YouTube.  The audience gets a rare opportunity to interact with the artists and enjoy a ‘behind the scenes look’ at a live recording session and broadcast production.  Each show comes with a free commemorative event poster. Performing artists are given access to the post-production video for their own unrestricted use in promoting their art, affording them the invaluable asset of world-class, professionally produced video content.

The Fallout Shelter serves a wide selection of beer and wine. Doors open at 6PM. Most shows start at 7pm and end no later than 10pm. General admission seating and easy, ample parking is available.  Located at The Winsmith Mill, 61 Endicott Street, Bldg #23, Unit B, Norwood, MA.
