The Company Theatre is the South Shore of Boston’s regional community theatre, offering theatrical productions, youth theatrical productions, a celebrity concert series, The Academy of Company Theatre (ACT) youth programs, technical training and more. Founded in 1979 by Zoe Bradford and Jordie Saucerman, the heart of The Company Theatre remains its five main stage productions where ticket sales and audience reach have consistently grown year after year, now reaching over 35,000 individuals.
The Company Theatre continues to build upon its reputation for highly trained and dedicated actors, live music, lavish costuming, elaborate set work, as well as its outstanding educational programs.
Stronger than ever, the Company attributes its success to its long-time dedicated staff and artisans who are proud to bring their craft to loyal patrons. Its 40-year quest for excellence in producing passionate, energetic and professional quality performances has established the Company as a true treasure of Boston’s South Shore.
