Terezin Music Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to advancing the resilience of the human spirit–as expressed in and inspired by the music and art created in the Terezin concentration camp. TMF preserves the legacy of these artists and also commissions new works by emerging composers; these are premiered in the U.S. and Europe by such luminaries as soprano Dawn Upshaw, cellist Alisa Weilerstein, and pianist Garrick Ohlsson. These pieces form a lasting contribution to the repertoire and offer inspiration and healing to all victims of war and genocide.
