ArtsBoston is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the arts.
The Program in Scripture and the Arts (formerly the Luce Program in Scripture and the Literary Arts) was funded from 2000 to 2008 by a generous grant from the Henry Luce Foundation in New York. Today the program continues with strong support from Boston University and is focused on raising awareness of sacred texts in religious traditions across time and around the world. The focus of the program is on scripture in the sacred and secular arts, including: literature, music, performance and visual arts from painting and calligraphy to film.
