ArtsBoston is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the arts.
MMAS was founded in 1993 to help create a home for artists in our community. Over the past seventeen years since we have provided concerts, theater productions, scholarships to student in the arts, and our annual arts festival.
This past year, MMAS expanded from 30 Crocker Street into the store front at 377 North Main Street. The new space has allowed us to expand our seating capacity in the Black Box Theater, provide a gallery for emerging artists in our community, while we created studio spaces for our rehearsal and educational needs. These space are also available for use by local non-profits, and members for a rental fee.
We have a 10-acre site across town which the society holds special membership event and we hope to build storage building in the near future. The land is also being used by our Artists Association as a great place to study, paint, and draw wildlife and local plants and flowers.
