Hoopla Productions

Hoopla Productions is a nonprofit organization that creates inclusive, powerful, arts-filled events aimed at bringing people together across the divides of race, class, culture, and immigrant status. As founders of Jamaica Plain Porchfest, they have produced a series of events such as PorchfestFEST at the Lawn on D, Rejoice and Resist (featuring Porsha Olayawala and Petrichor), and Lighting the Line (funded by The Boston Foundation). They believe that the power of arts can heal and transform. But, in order to sustain meaningful outcomes, it is critical to create and nurture meaningful relationships between and among artists, and between artists and audience members, all within the context of community.
