FriendshipWorks’ mission is to reduce social isolation, enhance quality of life and preserve the dignity of older and disabled adults in the Greater Boston area. We accomplish this mission by recruiting and training volunteers of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds who provide friendship, advocacy, education, assistance, and emotional support. FriendshipWorks’ services are based on the belief that our lives are interdependent and that no one should have to be alone, regardless of age or frailty.
