First Church of Christ, Scientist Norwood

This church offers healing services to Norwood community members (and beyond!). All are welcome! We are a branch church of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, that was founded by Mary Baker Eddy, to "commemorate the word and works of our Master [Christ Jesus], which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing." (Church Manual 17: 10) Hours: Sunday service and Sunday School: 10-11 AM Wednesday Testimony Meeting: 7:30-8:30 PM Reading Room (at 707 Washington St): 9:30-4:30, M-F, and and Sat. 9:30-1: quiet sanctuary where you can buy, borrow or read Christian Science literature – or just sit in quiet contemplation. Think of it as your local quiet refuge.
