DARPAN Theater ( http://darpantheater.org) aims to enhance cultural diversity, enrichment and learning through a broad range of theatrical presentations. We will bring facets of the human past and present through dramatic
arts. Our objective is twofold. One, from the deep, rich historical past, and culture of the Indic (South
Asian) civilization we will bring to life mostly original narratives and timeless stories. Secondly, we will
use the backbone of history & culture to dramatize the present with a fresh perspective. We will also
attempt to weave different dramatic styles and performing arts to our presentation. Our hope is that
our production will educate and broaden learning in the true spirit of the world culture.
