Contemporary Arts International (CAI) is a non-profit located in a 12.9 acre quarry in Acton MA. The mission of CAI is to promote the understanding and appreciation of contemporary arts through art education, exhibition, and international symposium. Located in a Red Box building on the CAI site is "Container Man," a large-scale kinetic musical sculpture. CAI founder and director Yin Peet, originally from Taiwan, and artistic director Viktor Lois, from Hungary, perform concerts on this remarkable sculpture. During the summer and fall, CAI holds an open house from 1pm to 4pm the first Sunday of the month.
