Nicholas Nixon: 8 x 10 and 11 x 14 April 2 – May 9, 2009 Boston-based photographer Nixon photographed with an 8 x 10 view camera in the 1970s and then again after 2000. His complex black and white prints have become more enigmatic after Nixon started making photographs with an 11 x 14 view camera in 2008. The exhibition focuses on the different uses of space in prints that are just mesmerizingly beautiful.
