ArtsBoston is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the arts.

The BAE brings the highest quality chamber music to Newton and Salem five times per season. Performers have incuded members of the Boston Symphony, including cellist Jonathan Miller, violinists Victor Romanul, and Tatiana Dimitriades, violists Steven Ansell, Ed Gazouleas, Kazuko Matsusaka, and Cathy Basrak. Violinist Sharan Leventhal and pianist Randall Hodgkinson are frequent participants. Other distinguished performers have included Bernard Greenhouse (from the original Beaux Arts Trio), cellist Wendy Warner, violists Mai Motobuchi, Kim Kashkashian and James Dunham, (of the Borromeo and Cleveland Quartets). Our programs consist of masterpieces works by well-known composers, some rarely heard, mixed with twentieth century works, and occasional new works. In the past few seasons the group has premiered works by Scott Wheeler, Joan Huang, Robert Aldridge, Nicholas Underhill and Andrew Frank. Our venues are intimate and beautiful. Trinity Episcopal Church in Newton Centre boasts visual beauty as well as excellent acoustics and affords ample free parking. The newly-renovated and expanded Peabody Essex Museum in Salem is the cultural center for the North Shore and viewers may enjoy the exhibits at the museum during intermission.
