ArcWorks began in 2004 as a program of the Northeast Arc to provide artistic opportunity to people with disabilities. It began with monthly guest artist workshops and exhibitions of work by disabled individuals at the Gallery @ Southside. In 2011, the ArcWorks Community Art Center was established at its Foster Street location in Peabody to better provide artistic opportunity for people with and without disabilities. ArcWorks is an inclusive art center, serving artists and viewers of all talents, skills, interests and backgrounds.
