The Aquinnah Cultural Center is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving Wampanoag culture, hosting a tribal museum, and supporting indigenous people. We aim to tackle issues such as indigenous invisibility and stereotyping by sharing our programs with the public on Noepe (Martha’s Vineyard), and spreading awareness about our culture, our celebrations, and our struggles. Finally, at the core of our mission is support for indigenous artists and creators of all backgrounds to help preserve their craft and support their individual economies.
