A long-awaited concert highlighting the important role that women played both in creating and performing music in early 20th century in America.
Deeply vested in American Traditional music, Marylou Ferrante and Robin O'Herin will share songs ranging from old-time music played on banjo, guitar, mandolin, and ukulele to Piedmont and Delta Blues and ragtime. Blues and gospel women such as Memphis Minnie, Ma Rainey, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe will be presented as well as traditional musicians like Maybelle Carter, Moonshine Kate, Ola Belle Reed, Texas Gladden, Hazel Dickens and Alice Gerrard.

Advance tickets at https://tradwomen.bpt.me are $15 general and $12 discounted (seniors, students, vets, disabled). Door prices are $3 higher.
