WDtS Egleston: Writing About Visual Art - Remote!

As part of GrubStreet’s Write Down the Street community program, writers based near the Egleston or Mattapan Branches of the Boston Public Library can take this drop-in class. Painters and poets have long been in conversation with each other.  We’ll look at examples by Mike Goldberg & Frank O’Hara as well as the string of poems inspired by Pieter Bruegel’s “Landscape with the Fall of Icarus,” before virtually visiting an eclectic and diverse collection of paintings, and writing our responses.
