"Vaudeville Tonight"

Center Club, New England’s oldest and largest Clubhouse for people with psychiatric disabilities, proudly hosts their first full-scale musical production, “Vaudeville Tonight.” The show will be presented Friday, May 10 and Friday, May 17 at 5 p.m., with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for Adult General Admission, and $8 for seniors/children 12 years and under. Food and drink will be sold separately.

With a book by Joseph George Caruso and music by Paul Curnow, “Vaudeville Tonight” is a revue where a troupe of actors, singers and dancers take audiences on a journey back to the gay 1890s and early 20th century. The audience will relive the days when America’s musical theatre was beginning to come into its own through a form of entertainment called “Vaudeville.” The score features songs taken from the Great American Songbook, written by such composers as George M. Cohan, Stephen Foster and Victor Herbert.
