We're excited about the 15th annual @southasianshowdown this Saturday, presented by our friends at @bostonbhangra at the Strand Theatre! The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines. This will be an unbelievable show and an unparalleled experience for all ages!
