TRUE STORY THEATER “You and TAXES”

How do we feel about paying taxes? What does it mean to us to be required as citizens to contribute our money (to our town, our state, our country)? True Story performs improvisational theater with heart. Audience volunteers tell important moments from their lives. Actors then honor these stories through drama, movement, music, and song. Audiences laugh and cry, build respect and understanding, and gain insights about their lives. We invite you to share different perspectives and learn from each other through our interactive storytelling theatre.

Arlington Robbins Library community room, lower level, is accessible via ramp, elevator, and wheelchair lift. This is a FREE public event of “The Listening Project: Strengthening civic dialogue through storytelling theatre” which is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
