One of the least densely populated countries in the world, Namibia is located on the west coast of southern Africa, and is the home to some amazing wildlife.

One of the least densely populated countries in the world, Namibia is located on the west coast of southern Africa, just north and west of South Africa. The dry lands of Namibia were long inhabited by native peoples, but it became a German protectorate for a time starting in 1884 giving the cities a bit of a colonial feel.
