Travel & Taste: Birding through Costa Rica

David has lead several birding tours in Costa Rica, from coastal mangrove swamps to elfin forests on mountain tops. Travel on a virtual journey through several of his favorite areas, including La Selva Biological Station, the Osa Peninsula, and a few mountain ranges and lowlands in between. Birds are the main focus of these tours—birds from the resplendent quetzal to the paltry tyrannulet, from trogons to antbirds, and from scarlet macaws to clay-colored thrush,  the national bird of Costa Rica. David promises no biting insects, no sunburn, and no venomous snakes, at least not in person.

Location-themed buffet dinner and lecture or lecture only (7:30pm start). Pre-registration required for dinner by 5pm Wednesday, March 21.
