Travel & Taste: Birding through Costa Rica

Travel on a virtual journey through Costa Rica and birds from the resplendent quetzal to the paltry tyrannulet, from trogons to antbirds, and from scarlet macaws to clay-colored thrush, the national bird of Costa Rica.

David has lead several birding tours in Costa Rica, from coastal mangrove swamps to elfin forests on mountain tops. Travel on a virtual journey through several of his favorite areas, including La Selva Biological Station, the Osa Peninsula, and a few mountain ranges and lowlands in between.
