A pre-concert talk that explores the fusion of traditional and contemporary music by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra— a “leader in Chinese ethnic music” and a “cultural ambassador.” Not only is the orchestra deeply rooted in Chinese cultural heritage, it holds the Guinness World Record for the largest number of people performing the erhu at one time, and has commissioned more than two thousand new works and arrangements.
