Thoreau Piano Trio: A Study in Light and Dark

Enjoy an afternoon of classical music with the Thoreau Piano Trio.

Susan Jensen, violin, Darry Dolezal, cello, and Paul Jacobs, piano, will perform a program of masterworks both brooding and brilliant including Beethoven’s Trio in E-Flat, Op. 70, No. 2 and Mendelssohn’s great D Minor Trio.

The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
