This concert is the kickoff of the first Venezuelan music album, sung in English
During the decade of the 70s, Aldemaro Romero, (the creator of the Venezuelan music genre: the New Wave) recorded some of his compositions in a Latin American New Wave album in English. At the same time, the Venezuelan harpist and composer Juan Vicente Torrealba, recorded bilingual (Spanish-Japanese) versions of his songs together with the Japanese soprano Nikari Niki. Both recordings were an innovation in Venezuelan musical history.
