The Oxford Street Players present Macbeth

The Oxford Street Players present Macbeth, their 24th season production. This Shakespearean play focuses on the prophecy of the weird sisters, whom Macbeth and Banquo meet as they return home from war. Macbeth is told he will be king and Banquo that he will be the father of kings. The stage is set for regicide and betrayal, as the extremes of ambition and guilt plague Macbeth and his wife after the murder of King Duncan.

The Oxford Street Players, co-founded in 1993 by Anne Pluto and Lisa Risley is a Shakespearean theater company that puts on full-scale productions for the Lesley community and for the public.
