The Makanda Project featuring Craig Harris

Renowned trombonist Craig Harris is special guest with the Makanda Project for their first indoor concert of the fall season.  Mr. Harris will lead the band through some of his striking original compositions, as well as joining the group in performing the music of Makanda Ken McIntyre, who was his mentor.  Kurtis Rivers, Arni Cheatham, Paavo Carey, Sean Berry, Charlie Kohlhase (saxophones); Jerry Sabatini, Haneef Nelson (trumpets); Craig Harris, Tyler Bonilla, Bill Lowe (trombones); John Kordalewski (piano); Wes Brown (bass); Yoron Israel (drums).  And as always, the community flavor of the event gives a Makanda Project concert its own unique character.
