Celebrate the legacy of Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winning author Toni Morrison and see her classic debut novel come to life. Boston favorite Lydia Diamond (Stick FlySmart People at The Huntington) adapts the book with grace and subtlety. The Bluest Eye tells the story of Pecola, a young Black girl who believes the world would be wonderful if she could have blue eyes. Enthralling, gorgeously written, and incredibly emotional, The Bluest Eye is an American touchstone.

Proof of vaccination can be easily provided by: Showing your physical vaccination card or a photo of your card Using Bindle, an easy-to-use, free app that keeps your information private, secure, and makes entry hassle-free. Instructions for how to set up this app on your phone can be found here: We are no longer able to accept proof of a negative Covid-19 test in order to enter the theatre. Well-fitted masks covering your mouth and nose must be worn at all times in all areas of the theatre. If on the day of the performance you are experiencing any COVID symptoms, stay home and contact ticketing services for more information about exchanges or potential digital viewing options. All tickets for Huntington productions at the Calderwood Pavilion come with digital insurance, and any ticketholders who would rather not see a performance in person for any reason can easily exchange their in-person tickets for a home viewing opportunity of a specially recorded version of the play.
