John Walthausen of Philadelphia plays works by Brahms, Bach, Liszt, Debussy, Florentz, and Franck.
John Walthausen earned his Bachelor's degree from Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He then studied at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Paris with Olivier Latry and Michel Bouvard, earning a Master's degree with highest honors. Later, he received a Master's degree in historical keuboards from the Schola Cantorum in Basel, Switzerland, where he studied harpsichord with Jorg-Andreas Botticher and organ with Lorenzo Ghielmi.
